Archipelago 21 Seoul

The masterplan of Archipelago 21 was carried out Studio Daniel Libeskind for the redevelopment of Yongsan International Business District. This project will transform the landscape of the historic Seoul along the Han River.

The entire site is broken into separate distinct 'islands' which gives its archipelago name. Several renowned architects also participated in the design of the various towers around the site.

Xiamen Fortune Centre

Fake Hills Mega Structure

Designed by MAD Architects at a proposed location of Beihai, China, Fake Hills Mega Structure is a housing complex that looks like an artificial hills or even a giant roller coaster. The design allows ample natural lighting and ventilation to pass through the building and reduce energy consumption of the entire complex.

MTL Global Village

MTL Global Village Lot 4 designed by Woods Bagot in Changsha, Hunan Province, China is flanked by the city major green belt to the west; main road to the east and sandwiched by residential quarter at both its northern and southern ends. The brief is to create a livable, contemporary and fashionable residential apartments with international appeal to cater for the upper middle class purchasers. Natural cross ventilation and natural light are incorporated into the design of the apartment blocks with landscapes all around the site for both views and recreation. Each unit will have a large balcony to realize the concept of bringing open space into the apartment. A layer of fixed and movable panels break downs the scale of the buildings' elevations while acts as air conditioning units screening and sun shades all at the same time.

SOM's Towers In Nanchang China

Derived from the studies of molten metal, the twin towers by SOM will definitely become distinctly iconic structures once completed. The dynamic and fluid forms are made possible by parametric modeling software.

Zaha Hadid's d'Leedon In Singapore

d'Leedon by Zaha Hadid is currently under construction by Capitaland led consortium in Singapore. The master plan derives from seven towers grow from sunken gardens and soar into the sky at a height of 150 meters - each one is articulated as a sequence of petals offering stunning views from each apartment units.

SOHO Hailun Plaza In Shanghai

The 33-storey SOHO Hailun Plaza designed by UNStudio is located at an intersection of 2 metro lines in the dense city of Shanghai. It is consisted of a 130 meters tall office tower with 5 mixed-use podiums. Due to its location at busy transportation routes, the forms of each structure is conceived and shaped by the flow of commuters around the site. The faceted appearance of the facade will look different when approached from different directions.
